SEAS All Afloat

ree

We are delighted to announce that the charities SEAS Sailability and All Afloat have officially agreed to merge, uniting two organisations with a shared passion for making sailing and adventurous activities accessible to all in a charity called SEAS All Afloat.

This merger marks an exciting new chapter in our journey to expand inclusive sailing and outdoor opportunities across Wales. By combining our resources, expertise, and teams, we will strengthen our ability to deliver high-quality, life-enhancing adventurous outdoor experiences to even more people with disabilities and those who face barriers to participation.

Established in 2017, SEAS Sailability is committed to making the outdoors accessible for all. Supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, the Isle of Anglesey Fund and donations from individuals and businesses across the region, SEAS Sailability provides opportunity for disabled people, their families and carers to experience the freedom of sailing and other water-based activities that may previously have been difficult to access through cost, equipment or availability of provision.

Since its foundation also in 2017, All Afloat has increased access to sailing and boating for young disabled and disadvantaged people across Wales.

We are now joining forces to pursue our shared vision of inclusivity.

Together, we will be better positioned to grow our impact, expand opportunities, and support our communities more effectively.

Our commitment to our participants, volunteers, supporters, and partners remains unwavering. Existing programs and services will continue, with exciting plans underway to expand activities, invest in equipment, and open new access points throughout Wales.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported both organisations over the years — from our volunteers and staff to our funders and participants. Your trust and dedication have made this merger possible and will drive our success moving forward.

Together, we are setting a new course for inclusive outdoor adventure — ensuring that everyone has the chance to experience freedom, confidence, and adventure in the awesome environment in which we live.

Further details about the integration and upcoming activities will be shared over the coming weeks. We look forward to sailing into the future, stronger together.
