Menai Straits Raft Race 2026

We paddled on our own last year but this May "The Great Menai Straits Raft Race" is back and we'll be joining in all the fun.

The event begins in Port Dinorwic with last minute construction and activity from 10.30 until the start of the race at 1pm. It's a paddle past the Conway Centre, under the bridges and finishing at Menai Bridge. As usual, we will make sure that all our participants are fully supported by our own safety craft. We will need (brave) souls to ride and paddle the rafts and will also have (limited) space for some to provide on water support from the powerboats.
