All Afloat was established in 2017 with a mission to transform young lives through inclusive access to boating and outdoor activity across Wales. Participation on the water is about far more than physical health—it builds confidence, self-reliance, teamwork, and a sense of belonging that lasts well beyond the first session.

In partnership with sailing clubs, outdoor activity centres, and youth organisations across Wales, All Afloat has already supported programmes reaching more than 3,500 young people. These programmes don’t just create first experiences: they provide ongoing opportunities to achieve certificates, grow into active peer groups, and even step up as qualified instructors inspiring the next generation.

Our pathway is designed to open doors—whether that’s a young person finding a lifelong hobby, developing transferable life skills, or considering a professional future in boating and outdoor activity.
